| Devon Moore has once again proved to be the all around top player in PWS. Devon Moore has been with PWS since 2007, and had a breakout performance at the first ever Majestic Twelve Tournament in 2008 where he outlasted Teddy Hart, Jack Evans, Trent Acid, Ruckus, Sonjay Dutt, Danny Demanto, Matt Cross, Tommy Suede and Kevin Matthews, forcing a Double Knock Out Tie with Kenny Omega in the Tournament Finals. Just a few weeks later, Moore would not only go on to defeat Omega in a Ladder Match for The PWS Title, but would also form the notorious Reality Check clique that same evening with his new girlfriend Alexa Thatcher and Kevin Matthews, after Alexa publically dumped Kenny Omega in the ring. Moore led Reality Check ever since, a clique which also includes Velvet Sky and Danny Demanto, and has included "Rotten" Tommy Suede and Terri Runnels. Moore held The PWS Title for 18 months and remains the ONLY man to hold the Title and successfully defend it! Moore eventually lost the belt to Trent Acid who was guised as "Deadpool" in a 4 Way Elimination Match in May 2009 which also included Grim Reefer and Balls Mahoney. Trent quickly dropped the belt minutes later after getting knocked out by Butterbean. At the following PWS event, Reality Check's Kevin Matthews knocked out Butterbean for the belt, however due to an unforseen injury, Matthews was stripped of the belt just weeks later as he will be out of action until at least early 2011. With Matthews stripped, PWS held up The Title and held its second Majestic Twelve Tournament to crown a new Champion which included some of the country's top wrestling stars including Necro Butcher, Dan Maff, Danny Demanto, Amazing Red, Joel Maximo, and Adam Cole amongst others. The Tournament was won by Devon Moore after he eliminated "The New Horror" Sami Callihan in the Finals with a Yakuza Kick; paying homage to the late Trent Acid. With the belt around Moore, Kevin Matthews being sidelined until further notice, and a violent outburst between Moore and fellow Reality Check member Danny Demanto during The Majestic Twelve, what does this mean for the future of Reality Check? Is the clique that haunted PWS for the better portion of the past 2 years now a distant memory or will Moore's second Title win spark him to recruit new members? We hope to catch up with Moore very soon for some answers. |
